Purpose and Acceptable Use
Flim provides a comprehensive database of image stills and videos extracted from films, television series, commercials, and other third-party content. This platform is strictly designed to serve as an educational, professional, and personal resource to inspire creators, assist with research, establish visual references, and build professional pitch decks or resumes. Users are explicitly prohibited from using these resources for commercial purposes, or distributing them outside the permitted creative and referencing use cases.
Account Management and Subscriptions
Flim operates on a freemium model. Free users can execute unlimited searches and build image collections ("boards"), but are capped at one high-definition (HD) consultation per day. To unlock advanced features, users can purchase monthly or annual subscriptions, which automatically renew unless deactivated in the account settings. Each user is restricted to a single account; account sharing is strictly prohibited, and users are entirely responsible for all activity and security credentials tied to their profile.
Intellectual Property and Copyright
While Flim owns the software, layout, and technological tools of the platform, the copyright for the individual video stills remains with their respective third-party owners. Flim makes these available under the Fair Use doctrine for creative research. Crucially, users may not reproduce or transfer these images for commercial gain.
Payments, Cancellations, and Liabilities
All paid plans are billed on a recurring basis on the subscription anniversary date. Users may close their accounts at any time. Failure to comply with these Terms, including but not limited to late payments, account sharing, or unauthorized distribution of content, may result in the immediate suspension or termination of the user’s access, with or without notice.
