How to use AI Tools in your creative workflow

Written by Raphaël Beau

The AI Dock centralizes your research and creation in a single workspace, allowing you to generate new assets while browsing traditional references.

To use the generative features:

  1. Open the AI Dock: Navigate to the AI section on the side of your workspace to open the generation panel.

  2. Choose your input method: You can generate assets from text or build upon existing imagery.

    • Text-to-Visual: Type a detailed description of your scene directly into the text field.

    • Image-to-Visual: Drag and drop a cinematic still from the Flim database, or upload your own file into the AI Dock to use it as a reference seed.

  3. Select your settings: Choose your media format and technical specifications.

    • Images: Flim utilizes models like Nano Banana Pro to deliver resolutions ranging from 1K to 4K.

    • Videos: Flim utilizes Veo 3.1 and Seedance 2.0 to generate clips from 4 to 15 seconds in either 16:9 or 9:16 aspect ratios. Videos include native audio, or you can upload a custom sound reference to synchronize with the visuals.

  4. Apply style presets or Aesthetics: Use curated camera angle presets, or activate a custom style preset by selecting 10 images to ensure your new generations remain visually consistent with your project direction.

  5. Generate and save: Click generate to create the asset. Once the process is complete, you can save the new visual directly into your project Boards alongside your saved cinematic stills.
